"O Saint Joseph, universal patron of the Church, in silence you took care of the Child Jesus and of His Mother. Take once more care of the Church which is suffering because it sees its children threatened and anguished because of the epidemic that has hit the entire human race. O Saint Joseph, you knew how to be the just man who always sought to act according to the will of the Father. Help the Pastors of the Church to discern in this difficult hour whatever constitutes the profound good of the faithful. O Saint Joseph, you have lived your mission in an active way, stay close to all those who, at this very moment, are risking their lives in order to take care of the sick, and to alleviate the sufferings of their brethren, as well as to guarantee the essential services to society. O Saint Joseph, you were able to conclude your earthly existence comforted by the presence of Jesus and Mary, hold the hand of those who, in these days, are dying alone and make them feel the comfort of a loving presence. Lead them, through the grace and mercy of Jesus, to the end of their earthly pilgrimage, to the fullness of life in the Heavenly Jerusalem. Amen."
