Feast of St George in Ramla The Orthodox Church celebrated the Feast of Saint George on 16 November in the church that bears his name in the city of Lod. Patronal Feast of Saint Elizabeth: example of faith, justice and charity! On Sunday 17th November, in the chapel of the Infant Mary in Jerusalem, the Franciscan Sisters Daughters of St Elizabeth celebrated their patronal feast. The Holy Mass was presided over by Brother Francesco Patton, Custos of the Holy Land, and concelebrated by the brothers of the Custody. It was a moment of fraternity and sharing with this religious community, which, with its charism and mission, is engaged in various services. The Feast of Marie Alphonsine: in prayer for peace! On Tuesday 19 November, at the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary in Jerusalem, H.E. Archbishop William Shomali, Patriarchal Vicar, presided over Mass in honour of Saint Marie Alphonsine, Palestinian nun and foundress of the Congregation of the Rosary Sisters. The Eucharistic celebration was also a time of prayer to ask for the gift of Peace for the Holy Land.
