Over the course of eight centuries, the Custody of the Holy Land has faced many challenges and difficulties, but these have not prevented it from carrying out its mission and enabling the development of the local community on a spiritual and social level. Last year, the Custody of the Holy Land did not accept the idea of closing the Terra Santa School in Nazareth, despite the difficulties. BR BADIE ELIAS, ofm Terra Sancta School Director – Nazareth Today the Terra Sancta School is experiencing a great challenge. Its mission began in 1640-a long history through which it has raised many generations. Let us unite our efforts for the future of our children, for a better future of society, the country and for the good of all. The Christian Media Center was able to document some of the shortcomings, both with pictures and from the voices of the students themselves. SAMIRA Student Terra Sancta School - Nazareth I have been at this school for six years. Unfortunately, our school is so modest, that in high school we have to bring our own computer from home, because the school does not have many devices. Br BADIE ELIAS, ofm Director Terra Sancta School - Nazareth The computer room is empty: we had to ask students to bring their own computers to do the homework they were supposed to do. Student Terra Sancta School - Nazareth I hope they fixed the air conditioning, because it was not working. RULLA ABU NASSAR Terra Sancta School - Nazareth computer teacher We have asked several times to change the computers. There are 18 computers that are not working, and this is a problem for educational activities. Student Terra Sancta School - Nazareth I hope they will put green grass in the schoolyard and some covers in the field to protect us from the sun. In the City of the Annunciation, where the Word became flesh, the Custody of the Holy Land seeks to keep the doors of hope and the future open to its students at Terra Sancta School Nazareth.
