With Jesus to Golgotha... the Way of the Cross in Jerusalem

To accompany Jesus with the cross to Golgotha.
On Good Friday, in a tradition that began in the 13th century, the friars of the Custody of the Holy Land, together with pilgrims and local Christians, retraced the stations of the Via Dolorosa.
They then took Jesus and he, carrying his own cross, went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). (Gv 19, 17 )
From the place indicated as the Praetorium of Pilate, the Way of the Cross unfolded in the middle of the crowded streets, just as it happened in the time of Jesus.
The encounter with Mary, the triple fall, the encounter with Veronica...at each station, on the way to Calvary, moments of prayer and meditation.
Step by step, to remember the last moments of the life of Jesus, to the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre awaiting the greatest announcement: victory over death.
