When he returned home, my children, especially Sandro, burst into tears. It was heartbreaking for the children to see their father in such a condition." Six years have already passed since that day and that night when Stephen and his family were forced to flee from Mosul, Iraq. An escape that led them to leave their homes and most of their possessions in a hurry. Apparently, a family like any other. Mum, dad and 3 young children... but in their eyes, there are unforgettable memories of a past that no longer exists and a future that needs to be rewritten. Their life is "in abeyance". But I realized that I can' t go back because there is no security there, while here there is. If I go to Baghdad, I will be afraid to send my children to school, so I want to stay in Jordan."
